Miriam Abbott has been a missionary for over 40 years and has worked with the Macushi Indians in Brazil. She and her mission’s partner, Jane Burns, have translated the New Testament into the Macushi language. They live in Florida now and continue to work on translating the Bible into other Brazilian tribal languages with other missionaries.
